Movies and Music

Have you ever wondered how movies would be if there were no music?? I think movies would be just plain boring without music, it enhances the moment, excites you, makes you feel the emotions, makes you sad sometimes, makes you tap to the beat, makes you wanna dance too ( mamma mia!!), transports you to another land...wat would we do without music....

Went to MPO tonight for the Symphonic Oscars...playing Oscar award winning/nominated theme songs that are memorable from The Godfather, Ben-Hur, Dr. Zhivago, Wizard of Oz, Pinocchio, Silverado, ET, The Magnificent Seven and a few more...i seriously felt like i was in an Italian countryside while listening The Godfather theme song...hahaha...and thinking of creamy carbonara pasta topped with crispy bacon...i know...im such a foodie. It was quite a formal event compared to the Sunday ones..guys had to wear coats...there was a looooong line of ppl queing up to rent coats..hahha. The conductor was Richard Kaufman, and the vocalist, Whitney Claire Kaufman, his daughter also, performs with Mamma Mia! the musical..aww so sweet father daughter team...The MPO is one of the things that Malaysia Boleh! It is still well kept and rules are still strictly adhered too...if they(ushers) catch you taking photos in the hall with your camera/phone...they will personally ask you to delete it in from of them..really...no kidding, so dont ever try snapping photos in there.

now the Godfather theme song is stuck in my head, and it reminds me of something...hmmmmmm
