Learning Thai

Everytime i travel to a different place, i make it a point to at least learn some basic greeting phrases and numbers ( for bargaining of course! hehehhee) . Since i will be going to Bangkok this year...went to look up for some basic Thai phrases. Pretty interesting actually...

Hello - Sawatdee kha (female speaker)/ Sawatdee krap (male speaker)

Thank you - Kob khun kha ( female speaker)/ Kob Khun Krab ( male speaker)

You're welcome - Mai pen rai

Delicious(food) - Aroy

Numbers ( it sounds a little like chinese dialects):

1 neung 20 yee-sip 1,000 neung-pan
2 song 21 yee-sip-et 2,000 song-pan
3 sam 22 yee-sip-song 10,000 neung-meun
