healthy food

i was feeling really hungry today since i didnt have lunch...cooked a chunk of salmon with capsicum and tomatoes and i ate it all by myself for dinner..hahaha...gluttony...

here's how i cooked it:
stuff needed - garlic, ginger, capsicum, tomatoes, salmon fillet, oyster sauce, soya sauce, salt, pepper and oil

first..marinate salmon fillet with a dash of salt and pepper. Then chop up the garlic ( as much as you like), slice a thumb nail size of ginger, slice tomatoes into 8 pieces ( or smaller if you like) and slice the capsicum into french fry like size...

heat up some oil in a pan, when its hot...add in the ginger

then add in the garlic..fry till fragrant

after that, add the capsicum, tomatoes, salmon, half a cup of hot water and pour a teaspoon of soya sauce and cover it with a lid. cook each side of the fish for about 5-8 minutes.

when you think its almost done ( has a pink orange colour and when you poke the meat with a fork...it goes through easily) push the fish aside...add in two tablespoons of oyster sauce on the capsicum and stir fry it, if its too dry add it a lil bit more water...cook for about another 2 more minutes and taddaaa...ready to eat!!

i was so hungry by the time i finished cooking i didnt bother putting
it in a presentable manner. sorry for the lack of food presentation. =P

...it had a sorta subtle tangy taste to it and a lil sweetness from the capsicum...overall i would rate it 8 on the things i would cook again.haha
