I have been going out pretty much this month for dinners with friends, being involved in orientation, watching movies..i think i watched 3 movies in March/April, The Reader, Confessions of a Shopaholic and Fast and Furious 4 ( which was a disappointment...even the chick flick was wayyyy better than it, hardly kept me at the edge of my seat..and the special effects were just plain blah, and the cars were ugly UGLYYY!! except for the blue Skyline and the white Porsche)...going for clinic visits in rural areas, and watching the F1 practice session ( since i was in Sepang already, so just go n look see lor...was pretty exciting and really noisy....fast cars.wheee).
So now....i guess its time to say sayonara to my social life...go out less and stay in more to study and read up more to broaden my knowledge. All the PDS deans that came recently for the annual meeting in IMU said that GRADES ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT!!! waaaaa....i must MUST study hard this time..keep up the grades for every exam, summatives and maybe even formatives so that i get into the uni of my choice. And not must i only study hard..i must study the right way to apply my knowledge to the skills i learn rather than just memorising everything....and also improve on my communication skills. Furthermore, i have summatives next month...and my COH report is due on my birthday!!!
In addition to that, i m now the home director of Taman Megah Home for Disabled for CSC...i have to keep on thinking of fresh ideas for activities for the kids there...its hard...especially when its so difficult to communicate with them. It is hard for an uncreative person such as I.
Juggling work, play and studies can be daunting at times...i guess i just have to remind myself constantly why i am doing this.
p.s. i aint complaining..just motivating myself =P
